Story
The first Jayhawk logo that was officially recognized by the University of Kansas was introduced by Henry Maloy and originally appeared in the University Daily Kansan on October 28, 1912. Maloy stated that he didn't even think of the term Jayhawker as a bird and instead drew a bulldog to represent the school's football team. The university celebrated 100 years of Maloy's iconic Jayhawk logo in 2012 and the logo is still used in various forms at KU. Show off your Jayhawk roots with this classic KU tee!
